Pastor Isaac Stewart

 

 

 

 

 

 

Rev. Isaac Stewart was licensed to preach in 1972 at the Austerlitz Street Baptist Church.  He was ordained at First B.C. of Burlington, Ohio where he served for many years. He followed God’s calling to Huntington, West Virginia where he served as pastor of 16th Street B.C. from 1974-1978.   Upon relocating back to New Orleans he resumed his service to Austerlitz until he was called to Pastor True Vine B.C. in Westwego, where he served from 1988-1998.   He has served as associate minister at Austerlitz Street B.C. and Dominion & Power Ministries.

 

He is a member of the Louisiana Freedmen Association, Rising Sun Missionary Baptist Association, National MBC of America Evangelistic Board, Westside M.B. Association, Westwego Connection Ministries, Inc., and Cornerstone M.B. General Association.  He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Theology.

 

He was ordained as Pastor of New Birth Missionary Baptist Church on October 9, 2009.  He is the loving husband of Shelia Sherrill Stewart; father of one son, Jonathan, one daughter Iris and proud grandfather of Kaitlyn Paige, Hayley, and Josiah.
